Contactless Card Locking System

Why MIFARE?
- Due to its technology, there are 15 address-sector in mifare cards, while only 1 address of them is used for locks; other 14 addresses of our cards can be utilized in fields such as intra-hotel expenditure terminals that are used today and will be used in the near future in hotel automation, transition controls in some units or departments, personnel follow-up, auto park entrance, accounting etc. without need of an extra card.
- It eliminates some difficulties in the usage of magnetic band or smart card systems that especially the persons working in the lodging industry for years know well, it gives easy usage due to remote reading. Because there are no directions on mifare cards. It commands the locks from all directions. Especially the right placement of smart cards into locks is at issue. Smart cards unlock the locks when they are placed as face up and one-sided. Under this condition, the possibility of a customer to enter his/her room is 25 % in the first trial and the customer will push the door due to thinking that it is opened, therefore the usage life of the locks will decrease, also there will frequently be modification needs for doors.
- In magnetic cards, there are frequently observed problems such as rapid abrasion, water and moisture exposure, not to be able to detect the coding all the time.
